We hand select different foods, flowers and foliage and create a uniquely curated grazing table for every client. We choose fresh seasonal foods so the type and range of foods used in our grazing tables may change and differ from tables shown on our website or previous tables you have enjoyed.

We provide a tablescape abundant with a variety of cheeses, charcuterie, olives and other antipasto delights, fresh artisan breads, assorted crackers, seasonal fresh fruit, vegetables and herbs, nuts, dips, dried fruit and delicious condiments and garnishes. Our tables are finished with simple fresh flowers and foliage.

We can also incorporate sweet treats including macarons, tarts, our signature rocky road, luxe chocolates and other delicacies to satisfy the most discerning sweet tooth.

We favour and support local producers where possible but we also use imported products.

Yes, to an extent - just let us know.

Yes we do. Relaxed, Classic and Deluxe. See our Grazing Table page for more information and to view our style guide.

We price our grazing tables by the metre. The minimum size is 1 metre + travel & set up fee and any equipment collection fee. We suggest platters or boxes if you require under 1 metre.

No -  the Victorian liquor licensing laws do not allow us to provide alcohol for grazing tables.

Generally we work on 1 metre feeding about 20 - 30 people. So if you have 60 guests we suggest a 1.5 or 2 metre graze. It also depends on the type of event. If you want a grazing table to provide light nibbles with drinks at a wedding prior to a formal 3 course dinner we suggest a smaller size table. If the grazing table is not the main meal we suggest you reduce the size of table by up to half. Eg. light nibbles prior to a main meal for 60 guests we would suggest a grazing table of 1.5 metres.

It also depends on whether the guests include children, how hungry people are and the time between grazing table and main meal.

Fill out our inquiry form here and we can chat with you further about the sizing of your grazing table for your event.

We can set up grazing tables throughout metropolitan Melbourne. If your event is outside of metropolitan Melbourne please contact us at hello@thepreassembly.com.au to see if we can make it work for you. (Additional costs for travel time may apply)

No we don’t. We can however set up on pretty much any flat surface at table height such as island benches.

We will need up to 30 minutes to unload food and equipment from our vehicle. We will then need between 1-2 hours to assemble your grazing table.

Yes we will as we need to unload our containers of fresh produce and other tablescape equipment. If parking is going to be problematic please let us know so we can plan for any potential delays.

We will keep food cool during travel to your event location. Food should be consumed within 3 hours of the grazing table being set up. Food not consumed within 3 hours should be disposed of.

We recommend grazing tables are set up inside in an air conditioned or well ventilated space or if outside in a shaded area out of direct sunlight.

Cheese knives are included with the equipment hire fee for multiple level Deluxe grazing tables only.

Napkins, biodegradable small plates and wooden cutlery can be supplied at an extra cost of $1.50 per person.

Yes - if you have a Classic or Deluxe grazing table or have added items to your Relaxed grazing table all props, equipment and cheese knives are returnable within 2 days after your event. All items must be hand washed prior to return. Please do not use a dishwasher or use scourers as this may damage our equipment.

You will be required to pay the full replacement cost.
